Spencer Rawnsley is a Los Angeles based photographer. His style is driven by creating timeless images inspired by classic style.

Spencer graduated from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts with a B.F.A. in Film Production and an emphasis in cinematography. He’s worked in the film industry for the past three years, and photography has been an ever-present passion and facet of his career.

In 2023, Spencer decided to dedicate his photographic pursuits to learning the craft of black and white film. The portfolio displayed on this site is a culmination of two years of work on medium format, black and white film.

Though captured within a relatively small geographic area, the images are made from a deep focus on the often overlooked and underappreciated vistas and details of the local environment.

He is currently working on creating his first gallery exhibition.
